Good Government

By and For the People

The word government itself might actually be a hindrance to good government. The word implies control, i.e., someone “governing” you.

But in a country where government is of the people, by the people, and for the people, there exists a much better, nicer, more beautiful implication – that government in such a nation is a neighborly, cheerful coming together of the people to do what is best for each other. It’s not about control; it’s about working together for a better life for all. With this definition of government, there can certainly be a such thing as good government.

Let’s make it happen (while we still can – that is, while we still have government of, by, and for the people).
